Sad night at our house

Well you all seen the adorable puppies we recently added to our family. Well, one started breathing weird yesterday and couldn’t get comfortable and we decided around 9pm she needed a doctor right away and that she couldn’t wait the night so my husband found an animal hospital and took off with her. They took her back right away and almost lost her in the process of taking some x-rays. This poor little 8week old puppy had major congestive heart failure her heart was three times the size it should be and her lungs were full of liquid. They put her on an IV drip and in an oxygen kennel. We got a call around 12:30 that she took a turn for the worse and per doctors recommendations we had her euthanized to end her suffering as it was clear she was not going to survive this. Even after only touching our lives for a couple days it was a sad decision we had to make. Little “Jazzy” is no longer with us.  It’s amazing how these little creatures can affect our lives. We are all animals lovers in this family and we know we will more than likely outlive these precious ones we adopt into our family knowing the entire time how much it hurts when we lose them. We just don’t know how to live with out them in our lives. We lost our last German Shepherd mix to bone cancer when he was only 6 and the German Shepherd mix before him we lost to Congestive Heart Failure when she was 7 and now this little puppy. Losing our animal friends is such a hard thing to deal with so we always cherish every minute and try to make their lives with us the best they can be. Rest in Peace our sweet little Jasmin “Jazzy”

Awww, I am SO very sorry! My mom is a vet tech of 20+ years, so as you can probably imagine, our house was kind of a little farm full of animals (except we lived in the city!) lol She is in a better place, with no heart problems! She is just beautiful! Again, I am so sorry, I know how easily and quickly you can get attached! :0(

Oh I am so sorry! It is one of the hardest things to lose a pet. I lost my basset hound to lymphoma and it was absolutely devestating. We also lost our 4 year old cat to a severe asthma attack where fluid ended up in his lungs and he just died.

Animals are one of God's greatest gifts. They come into our lives and enrich it with so much love and devotion. It does help to know though that she is in a better place and not suffering anymore.
