Necessity is the mother (or father) of invention.

Mike Canapini, became a stay at home dad and his priorities changed in an instant.  He said, “I realized just how difficult it was to care for children full-time.  It seemed that the everyday tasks of taking care of 2 preschoolers made the days long, and the years short.  With little sleep, and little free time, I decided (with much help from my wife) to start a new company that provided safe and innovative designed products, that can help save time and make child raising a little easier.”

I have always been a bit jealous of those people with such inventive minds. I always think, “Why didn’t I think of that?” lol.  This utensil is another one of those cases for me. After parenting 4 children and the frustration and messes that come along with teaching a toddler to eat I WISH I would’ve thought of this product. It is so   hard for our little ones to eat correctly because they just don’t bend their wrists at this stage but this utensil does the bending for them.

Because both the spoon and fork attachments come with the “Learn’N’Turn”, it’s like getting two utensils in one. And because the attachments can rotate in either direction, it is perfect for left or right-handed children. With the ability of the “Learn and Turn Utensil” to convert into a conventional spoon or fork, it eliminates the need to repurchase new utensils as your child grows and develops.  The Learn ‘N’ Turn utensil’s patent pending design allows you to adjust the angle of the spoon to help babies and toddlers feed themselves easily.

The spoon or fork attachment can rotate to various positions, creating the proper angle so food can be easily placed into his or her mouth . As your child’s wrists and hands develop, and their dexterity improves, you can adjust the angle of the spoon or fork accordingly.

Eventually, your child will be eating with the “Learn’N’Turn” in the straight position, just like a conventional spoon.  Made from F.D.A. approved and B.P.A. free plastic this Learn ‘N Turn utensils are also dishwasher-safe (top rack only).  To reduce effort required to remove attachment from the handle; wash  in the top rack of a dishwasher with the spoon or fork attached to the handle.

Award Winning Design

The “Learn’N’Turn” is a proud recipient of the Parent Tested Parent Approved award, an organization that provides an objective appraisal of new products designed to enrich family living.

They have been featured in Baby & Toddler Magazine, Parents Canada Magazine, and on TV as well as several blogs.

Knitcircus Giveaway: My favorite partetn are Pointsetta Doily & Dugdale blanket.I’ve recently gotten back into doilies! You can never have too many. I proudly display them on my tables and many find their way to new homes but admiring non-knitters.The blanket caught my eye. Although my sons are bigger then a baby blanket size ~ they still appreciate a good throw size while watching TV or playing video games. Hands down. Guess who follows me around when blankets are coming out of the dryer? Now with a puppy to spoil ~ I know I will be making him something soon.Congrats again Linda!
