The 100 Thing Challenge

I saw this post on Lasso the Moon when I was visiting about project 366 and thought this was the perfect time!  This challenge  is to simply “Get Rid of 100 Things”! I am a firm believer that clutter causes stress and clutter is all made up of stuff so…… get rid of stuff and eliminate clutter and let your home become a stress-less environment. Seriously think about it. If you walk into a chaotic, messy or disorganized room doesn’t it just weigh on your shoulders.  It like walking out of my bedroom in the morning to a stack of dirty dishes on the counter. That will start my day off all wrong if not totally sabotage it. I had to at least load the dishwasher before bed so when I walk out of my room it’s too clean and clear counters.

I think January 1 of 2012 is the perfect time to start with this challenge. I will be making it my priority to get rid of 100 things over this next week and I won’t even count the stuff I have just tossed as I went through and hung up the kids new clothes and tossed old, stained clothes.  We can do this. Lets take the challenge. If you want to jump on board I will post what I was able to get rid of by Saturday and I will include a linky so you can link up too. I find holding myself accountable by blogging about it really helps.  You can post that you are accepting the challenge and link to this blog post if you’d like so we can all see how we did come Saturday.  Good Luck!

I’m not sure yet if I’m in or not … certainly realize the importance of decluttering …

lol, I know it I have to be in the mood for it but once I get in the mood look out. I even got my kids in on the deal. I was making some awesome progress and actually hit my 100 really fast! I hope to see you there. Blessings.
