Home Depot Kid workshop 2/4

You don’t want to miss out on this workshop tomorrow. On the first Saturday of each month, the FREE Home Depot Kids Workshops offer useful projects like building toolboxes, fire trucks and mail organizers, as well as more educational projects, such as a window birdhouses, bug-houses or a Declaration of Independence frame kit.

The workshops are great for 5-12 year-olds (mine are 3 and 4 and love it) and they teach children do-it-yourself skills and tool safety and at the same time they help to instill a sense of accomplishment. The workshops also allow for quality, one-on-one fun time between you and your children or nieces, nephews. The workshops are great for scouts troops, neighborhood organizations and Sunday school classes as well!

In addition to the newly constructed project kit, each child receives a kid-sized orange apron, similar to The Home Depot associates’ aprons, and an achievement pin.

Tomorrow’s project, time: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m, would be perfect Valentine gifts.  It’s a keepsake box they can take home and paint like this one.  The Home Depot Keepsake Box.
