Saying I loved this movie would be the biggest understatement.
I have yet to be disappointed by any of these “Faith & Family” films. Just watch this trailer before I say anything.
The Woodcarver trailer
Restoring their faith in God and in life
Nasser Group North Production
Genre: Faith & Family/Christian film
Starring: John Ratzenberger
About the Movie: Fifteen-year-old Matthew Stevenson is a troubled kid from a broken home and he is rebelling against his parents. He makes a destructive decision and vandalizes the local church that his father is renovating to get back at them. The church agrees not to press criminal charges if he agrees to help repair the damages he caused. The “Woodcarver” Ernest Otto has become reclusive since the death of his wife. Working side-by-side to repair the church the two form an unlikely friendship and finally they both come to realize all things are possible and help restore each others beliefs in faith, family and friendship.
My rating on a 1 – 10 scale: 10
My Review: Just like Emeril “BAM” this movie starts out with a punch. It is action packed right from the get go and instantly had my attention. I really enjoyed the flow of the movie and believe that so many families out there will be able to relate to this movie in one way or another. We all have problems in our families and have had our share of bumps in the road. Since this was such a believable story it was very easy to feel sympathy toward all the different characters. I think they picked a great group of actors for this film and they played it out perfectly. My daughter and I just loved the ending and did our share of “awww-ing” here and there. It couldn’t have ended any better. Another two thumbs up from us Nasser North Group. Please keep creating these awesome faith and family films and we look forward to your next release!
