With all the sadness in the world right now there are those that strive to make a change. With all the tragedy in my state of Oklahoma we also see all of God’s goodness through all those that not only step up to help but RUN to help. Grace Beecher has a heart just like this. I have never met this young lady but through the stories of her good works I do know her. This young, high school senior is going on a life-changing, 9-month mission trip to help change the world but she needs our help. Don’t you all wish you could help change the world? I know I do. Missions trips are something very near to my heart but not something I can personally do at this point in my life so I jumped the the opportunity to help someone else. Meet Grace Beecher:

She feels God has blessed her with incredible opportunities to share His love. Over the past two summers she has spent her time building a house in Guatemala and living in Kenya for a month. This is what really set fire to her heart for missions and spreading the love of Jesus to people all throughout the world. She spent a lot of time in prayer and consideration before she decided to spend 9 traveling between Africa, Asia and Central America working with children, elderly and everyone in between to spread the gospel.

Adventures in Missions, an organization dedicated to sending missionaries overseas, has provided this adventure in her life. This experience will change her and her heart as she also helps change others. The program she is part of is called Passport Immersion, you can read about it more HERE. She starts off with 3 months in Central America focusing on teaching English, working with children and community service projects. Then her next three months will be spent in Southeast Asia (known for it’s human-trafficking) working with women and encouraging them to leave prostitution. She will round out her nine month mission with three months spent in Africa where they will hold hold-to-hut evangelism and plant church’s. This will no doubt be a life changing experience for them all. I have been wearing my T-shirt with pride helping to spread the word.Love T-shirt

I really wanted to host a giveaway for a $40 gift card to everyone that donated something to her cause but I found out that is illegal….yikes. So unfortunately that is a no go but please don’t leave. I am going over to make my donation. Please don’t think because you only have an extra $5 that you could offer that it’s not worth it because it is. Every dollar will help Grace on her way. Her family has been working diligently trying everything they can think of to make this $12,000 trip happen but have now decided to put it in God’s hands. They have spent more money trying different things to help raise money than they have made toward her trip. She still needs to come up with approximately $9000.00. Could you please donate even just $5.00 to help her help so many others? Please share this story to also help get her message out there all over cyber space. I wish I had the funds like Kevin Durant to just put the money down and say thank you Grace for helping to better the world. Did you all hear that Kevin Durant donated $1 Million dollars to the city of Moore to help the tornado victims. That is SO AWESOME!! How much can we help her?? Please click to donate HERE ( select Passport for the program and Grace Beecher should already be filled in for you). You will be asked for your email address and info so you can get a receipt of your donation. PLEASE help me help Grace by sharing this with EVERYONE you know: share it on Twitter, Google+, Facebook.

Bless you all for your time and let’s help Grace change the world!
