My Review

This is a beautiful, 351-page, hardcover book written by Kelly Pulley. The pictures are amazing and the rhyming fun in which the stories are all told is superb! My boys, 5 and 7, absolutely loved the way their favorite Bible stories were rhymed out to them. This book retells 20 stories from the Bible:

  • Adam and Eve
  • Noah’s Ark
  • Joseph & his brothers
  • Baby Moses
  • Escape from Egypt
  • Moses crossing the sea
  • Joshua at Jericho
  • Gideon’s doubt
  • David and Goliath
  • Queen Esther
  • Daniel and the Lions Den
  • Jonah and the whale
  • The birth of Jesus
  • John the Baptist
  • Jesus walking on water
  • The good Samaritan
  • Wayward son
  • the last supper
  • Jesus on the cross
  • the resurrection

The author, Kelly Pulley, has illustrated dozens of books in “The Beginner’s Bible” series and has authored and illustrated several other children’s books.

This book is perfect for children 4-8 and is currently on sale at HERE for $14.99.
