About the Author
Paris Morris wrote her first book in the My Friend Paris series, I’m Having Twins, when she found no childrens books addressing the issues she was going through while her parents were expecting twins. Her second and third books, My Twins are Coming Home, My Twins’ First Birthday, My Twins’ First Halloween, My Twins first Christmas were borne of her experiences during the first year of her twin sisters’ lives. Paris Goes to Lake Tahoe is the child author’s fourth book and is the first of her travel books. Her younger sister Liberty has released Paris goes to San Francisco as the seventh book in the series along with Paris Goes to Los Angeles. Paris and her sisters live in Danville, California where Paris is a junior in High School. Paris’ books are available for sale on Amazon.com.

This is a 20-page soft-cover book or it’s also available as an E-book and can be purchased on Amazon. The images in this children’s book are cute, colorful, full-page illustrations. The book does more than just tell a story, it also teaches a bit more about the Halloween holiday, the time of year it arrives, as well as about the Mexican holiday “Day of the Dead”. It talks about family trip to the pumpkin patch and carving jack-o-lanterns together as a family.
In our home we read book A LOT. Sometimes the boys read stories to each other and sometimes I read stories to them but we read during the day and at bedtime and my guys gave this story two thumbs up. They loved the pictures and reading about Halloween in other children’s homes. They also agree that trick-0r-treating is very tiring but worth it! They just like walking around with their friends all dressed up in costumes and getting candy. My boys and their friends like to dress up like action figures, superhero’s and things like that. 🙂 Here is a pictures of them and a friend last year. The Clone Trooper and Batman are mine. Superman is a friend. 🙂
I know a lot of people don’t celebrate Halloween and honestly it’s a hard one for me too. In our home, we don’t buy scary costumes it’s simply about dressing in fun costumes and hanging out with friends and getting candy. This author, however, is a very talented young lady that I want to support and she has 7 other books in her series so far that you could share with your family. I always like supporting young, out-going, entrepreneurs!! Congratulations Paris Morris and I hope you have a very long and successful career!
