Liberty Tabletop is the only brand of flatware available that is still Made in the United States. Our product is manufactured here in Central New York at our Sherrill Manufacturing facility, the factory that we purchased from Oneida Ltd. back in 2005. We produce and market high quality 18-10 stainless steel flatware and market primarily via our website. There are 4 quality lines ranging from our opening price point, the SMI line, to the LUX line which is our heavies and finest finish product. The flatware and accessories created for you by Liberty Tabletop are made in the United States, employing American craftsmen and using the highest quality materials. Our flatware is 18-10 stainless steel, meaning it will retain its attractive luster as it is passed down through generations. And, we use the traditional, time-honored technique of hollow handle knife construction. The design, materials, weight and balance are tactile indicators of a level of quality and craftsmanship you can expect every time you pick up Liberty Tabletop flatware.
100% Made in America is primarily associated with Jobs, particularly after the recent “great recession”. We have discovered that there is much more too it. Made in USA, particularly in our case, also involves a green or Eco-friendly manufacturing/distribution process, is socially responsible in many ways, and protects the health and safety of our customers & employees in ways the imported product can not match.
I reviewed the Heritage line of silverware. Here is their description of this particular line.
The Heritage line of flatware by Liberty Tabletop is positioned to set the standard for fine bridal quality flatware in the industry. The line is benchmarked to provide a superior value when compared with similar products offered in the high-end bridal sections of major department stores. The forks, spoons and serving pieces are made from the finest 18-10 stainless to ensure decades of luster and the knives are hollow handle design. Patterns range from traditional to modern and are all finished to our highest quality standard.

This silverware is gorgeous! I love the hollow handle knife design! I love that they are 100% made in the United States and that they are all about being eco-friendly and using only the highest quality and safe practices. At Sherrill’s Manufacturing plant they get their power from the hydroelectric plant at Niagara Falls.
Here is the beautiful set I received to review. They came individually wrapped and then were protected by bubble wrap. It is immediately evident the quality of this silverware. Their luster is just amazing and their quality design and style. You can see in this collage (I didn’t want to over load you with individual pictures) the hollow knife handle design compared to the rest of the silverware and you can tell by my hands that the handles are substantial. The knife is engraved on the blade with Sherrill USA, while the other utensils are engraved Sherrill 18/10 USA on their handles. The silverware is really beautiful and you can definitely tell a difference which I will show you in my second photo collage.
Strangely enough the Heritage line from Sherrill looks a lot like the silverware we already. If I just had a fairy godmother to magically change all of mine into the Sherrill silverware. In this picture I put the Liberty silverware on the left of my existing silverware for comparison purposes. The shine from the high-quality, Liberty silverware really “out-shines” the made in China stuff on the right. Also note the difference in silver color. The ones on the right claim to be stainless steel as well but they don’t advertise the quality they use and it’s obviously not 18/10. The made in China silverware looks a lot lighter in color than the made in the USA Liberty silverware. They outsize all the made in China silverware as well except the place spoon which you can see in the top right picture of this collage.
I think this is just a beautiful silverware set but if it’s not your cup of tea they have tons more. In the Heritage line alone they offer 9 different styles , this one is called Pearl.
This set and many, many more sets are available for purchase on their website https://libertytabletop.com/
