OK, Everyone this is one of my all time favorites!! I am an organization junkie and planner lover!! This is THE Homeschool parents dream planner, IMO! I know the last thing our children want to think about is going back to school as many of them have just finished up but as parents we need to be ready and this will make your job so much easier and a lot funner. You can check it out for yourself with an awesome online viewer that starts with the front cover and you can click your way through the planner to see what it’s all about. To check it out for yourself click HERE. In addition to planning our school days I can also add in other things that need to be done as well so this is an all in one planner for me. This planner (8.5″x11″) is perfect for Homeschoolers as it doesn’t start in January but instead runs from July 2011 through June 2012 and sells for $24.95.
This planner is created by “Home Educating Family”. The planner was created by and for Homeschool Families. Home Education Family also publishes an awesome Homeschool Magazine. When I first received my planner It was like Christmas! I was so excited upon hearing about this review. In addition to the planning part of this book there are special pages as well like the Keepsake page where you can make notes of things such as our favorite book to read out loud this year was, The mores requested restaurant to eat at was, The game we played often was, We enjoyed traveling too , Things God did in our family this year included and more. There is a staying in touch page for greeting card registry, Household finances, Household duties, Emergency contacts and My responsibilities page.
Tough construction/Spiral bound The pages are hole punched and spiral bound making it easy to see and write on the entire page and the pages are easy to turn.
230 full color pages The entire planner is made of beautiful color pages including all the scheduling pages and all the home management pages and extra’s.
July 2011-2012 This works for us that start school in July/August and finish in May/June or those that school year round as well.
My favorite part of this entire planner being the book nerd I am… They have encouraging essays at the beginning of every month and the weekly catechisms(based on the Westminster Confessions)are a great way to enrich your Bible study. You may not agree with them up but can skip them easily enough.
Planning space for up to FOUR children Which is wonderful for large families like mine or for extra space if you don’t have four. There are 4 Student class plans to schedule each student’s class assignments and 4 time schedules to track each day by the hour. You can also organize your week with class assignments, weekly priorities, dinner menu, prayer requests and notes. Month at a glance pages to plan enrichment activities, field trips and books to read. There are also Semester attendance pages and progress reports in addition to the perforated report cards.
NEW in 2011 Holiday Organization Section that includes Greeting card registry, gift giving, activities and event schedule , shopping online and around town.
There are Extra pages for reading lists, goals, and more! Menu planning pages are also included so you can plan weekly meals and conveniently shop with perforated shopping list. There are also Family worship pages: Read through the Bible in a year!
