Finding a Titus 2 woman has become quite a feat in current times. I am so glad Susan wrote this book to help those of us that want to learn, a means to do so. Yes, I know it is all in the Bible but for some of us that weren’t raised in the church or by Titus 2 woman understanding and comprehending everything we read in the Bible and knowing how to apply it to our lives can be very difficult. This book breaks it down in a simple step by step format going through the qualities of a Titus 2 woman and how to become spiritually mature With each quality there are scriptures given to show exactly that.
Love your husband, alright that is easy enough right? How about being submissive? I was never taught submission growing up, nor was I taught that my husband was my head, but in I Corinthians
11:3, the Bible says, “But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman [is] the man; and the head of Christ [is] God.” By learning to be submissive to our husbands we are showing them love and loving God in the process and allowing our husbands to become the men that God wants them to be as well. This doesn’t mean you are now a doormat to your husband and that your should put up with physical or emotional abuse and it definitely doesn’t mean you should do something your husband asks that is a sin. God commands husbands to love their wives, IN THE SAME WAY as Christ loved the church.
In the conclusion of Titus 2 Woman, Susan says,”When we as Christian women do not act as the women described in Titus 2, we are being blasphemous of our most Holy God! She also stated that she didn’t know anything about this until she was in her mid-30’s. OK, so I am not alone in this. Here I am in my mid 30’s and have only recently been learning about how to live as a Christian is truly meant to live and behave. The Titus 2 Woman couldn’t have come to me at a more perfect time. Thank you Cindy for telling me about this opportunity to read and review this book and thank you Susan Godfrey for writing such a book. I too think this would be an excellent devotional and know it is a book I will turn to over and over again!
(I received one or more of the products or services mentioned above for free in the hope that I would mention it on my blog. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers))
