Synopsis:
Thomas Kinkade presents Christmas Lodge: a place where a heart-warming past and loving future meet for one remarkable group of
people. During a weekend trip to the mountains, Mary (Erin Karpluk) finds herself at the now- dilapidated lodge where she spent the holidays with her
family growing up. She becomes determined to restore the building to its former glory. Inspired by her grandfather and guided by her grandmother in heaven, Mary
throws herself into the project, and during the process finds herself drawn to Jack (Michael Shanks), a handsome man who loves the lodge as much as she does.
Historically unlucky in love, this chance encounter allows Mary to renew her faith in life and discover her one true love. For an uplifting story about the
importance of faith, family and the true holiday spirit, go to the Christmas Lodge.
Who doesn’t love Thomas Kinkade?  He is an amazing artist and I we just loved this movie. We had a very enjoyable night and the only thing that was missing was my husband but he’ll be here tomorrow. The kids and I made a bowl of popcorn and grabbed a comforter and snuggled on the couch. Well….the baby was sleeping before it really began and I moved him to bed but the rest of us munched our popcorn and enjoyed the movie. It really is a super sweet movie that probably most families can relate to in one aspect or another. Families grow and priorities change. Though we all still love each other sometimes we forget about what’s really important in life and just get wrapped up in the busy work of it and forget to really enjoy it and what it’s all about, “Family”.
This was a very moving and WONDERFUL family movie. There were not ANY parts of this  movie that made me want to plug my kids ears or cover their eyes and it seems these days that just about everything you can find on TV has something like that to it.  The only thing with reviewing movies is that I don’t want to give much away…some of it was a tad predictable but we didn’t mind it was just REALLY a GREAT movie that we would recommend to everyone. I have a feeling we will be watching this movie many more times between now and Christmas!
We and Propeller marketing wanted to offer you the chance to win your own copy of this great DVD to add to your collection and for you to enjoy with your family this coming Christmas season…It’s almost here!!

Oh I love seeing the lights too. We have a couple favorites we always go see. There is a family in the area that always puts on an elaborate display set to music you tune into on the radio and they ask for canned goods or cash donations for the local shelter. I LOVE it!!

I actually love doing what most people find stressful. I love going out to hunt for gifts and picking out a christmas tree. Decorating is another story. I’m slightly untalented in that aspect.

My favorite Christmas tradition is reading the Christmas story with our family on Christmas night. I remember doing this as a girl gathered around the tree and now I get to pass it on to my sons.
