Their high quality and superior body lotion is only part of their story.
The Basa Body story began years ago with a single trip to Kenya. When they connected with wonderful, intelligent women working hard to feed their families. Their small-scale enterprise was called Coast Coconut Farms, where they produced virgin, organic coconut oil by hand.
Intrigued by their commitment, skill, and entrepreneurial spirit, they were determined to help these women tell their story and grow their business. The result is BasaBody, named after the women of Mombasa, Kenya, where Basa’s coconut oil is produced. The story doesn’t end their either. BasaBody is growing in the United States and they are creating jobs here as well.
I received this product to review, and the first thing that hit me was the smell. Wow, would it make an amazing candle. The powerful smell of coconut is so breathtaking. I LOVE anything tropical smelling whether it’s coconut or pineapple or what have you. Then I put a small dab on my hands and rubbed them together. The lotion really does absorb really quickly and leaves a smooth finish not a real greasy feeling you get from some. It seems some lotions are so greasy that they just don’t feel like they ever really get absorbed but just coat the skin. This product is nothing like that. It’s a silky smooth lotion going on and absorbs into the skin quickly. Basa Body is a socially conscious company that gives 10% of the profits to humanitarian work.
Not only do I get to enjoy this lotion but Basa Body wants you to try it to so they are offering up to one lucky U.S. reader a bottle of Basa Body All Natural Body Lotion. Enter to win using the Rafflecopter form below ENDS 11/17.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
