My opinion:I love being a mom
Fit Moms for Life (How to Have Endless Energy to Outplay Your Kids). First thing I was thinking is what is a young guy doing writing about this subject. Dustin Maher is the oldest of 4 children and one thing he remembers is how his mom always put their needs first and didn’t take time for herself as he was growing up, and that was his motivation to start Fit Moms for Life.  Dustin is a 28-year-old personal trainer/fitness instructor/writer/motivational speaker/and teacher. He said, “I love helping everyone I come in contact with get in better shape. I especially enjoy helping moms to look even better than before having kids”.   I like this little Montage video that was put together as he has been featured on TV more than 100 times.

Dustin Maher built his program around five pillars of health:  Mindset, nutrition, strength training, burst training and environment. This isn’t just an exercise program its a change of life. It’s how to think differently, eat healthier and even exercise differently. He talks about each of these parts thoroughly in his book.  The book is more personal, as well, as it also talks about many women (before/after pictures) that have had success with the program to varying degrees and the challenges each of them had to overcome to become successful.  Included in the book are several pages to document your journey and successes as you use the program, your goals, your body measurements (and how to take them correctly), fitness test results, 3 day food journal.  Also included in the Resources for more information at the back of the book are some awesome helpful websites and books like food journal/calorie-counting websites.

On scale of 1-10 I would give this book a 9 and I can’t wait to check out the various websites and books he suggested in the resources section of this book.
