How about a late Christmas gift? This would be the perfect family gift. There’s nothing better than sitting around a table with your family, laughing together, playing together and learning about God together with this interactive DVD board game 2-4 players can play and learn via the New King James Version! There are over 400 questions on 2 DVD’s. The game states it’s for children 12+ but I think it all depends on your family. I am so happy there is now a game that we can do this with. We try to have Bible study with the kids but this is a nice change of pace while still learning the Bible together as a family.
ABOUT THE GAME
Wisdomantics-New King James Version (NKJV) is an interactive DVD board game for players of various faiths who desire to gain the vast wisdom of King Solomon. Wisdomantics-NKJV utilizes the proverbs of Solomon and blends chance, knowledge and strategy to create a fun experience while you learn! The game’s intent is to bring individuals together to learn how to cope with numerous situations in a fun and relaxed environment. Inside the box you’ll find 2 interactive DVD’s with 400 questions, score cards, blessing cards, and more!
This is a wonderful change to regular Bible study with the kids. I also think this is a great game from friends that gather together for fellowship, or for a fun Sunday school activity. Even though this says for ages 12+ I also included my 7 year old and 6 year old in the game as well and just helped them along. I never think it’s to early but for a super competitive game the odds wouldn’t be in their favor but when used as a learning tool I think they can definitely play along. The video above shows the basics of the game but there is more too it and you can also visit their website for strategy hints and to print out a question tracker if you want to keep track of which questions you have already read.
There’s more to the game, however. As you can see there are special advancement cards like, “Miracle, Grace&Mercy, Restoration, Passover, and Detention Chamber” which add to the fun. Yes, it’s a little like Monopoly but with a much greater cause. There are also
special squares on the board. These special cards and spaces are where the strategy comes more into play. You can see how this might be more difficult for a child under 12 but this isn’t the only way to play the game. You can also just play it like a quiz game and keep score on paper when someone gets the right answer they receive one point. We have had a lot of fun the playing and learning together with this game and I know we will use it on a regular basis with out children in the future until we all have 400 questions saved to memory. I am so glad there is a learning game like this for our family and yours to use.
